Thanks for the reply. I am currently using the rear output shaft to drive the top of two pulleys on the belly mower and then another belt on the same double pulley to drive the deck. I have the largest pulley that I can fit on the rear, 9" diameter, and is driving a set of 4 1/2 pulleys for the blades. I need to get the blades spinning faster and, short of putting a 3 inch pulley on the top of the mower deck, would like to know if moving the drive pulley to the side shaft would give me an increase. Any thoughts? Thanks!
