I filled the SH with coolant and I have a leak(s)at the small hose that connects the outlet to the water pump. The two parts don't line up exactly and there is a slight jog in that very short hose but I don't think that is why it is leaking. The cast iron was a little pitted on both parts and tightening the clamps only helped a little. I used new tower clamps and it doesn't seem like they do the job like a worm clamp. I'm going to replace them with two new wide worm clamps, fill it back up and see what happens. Any secrets to dealing with the pits if this doesn't work. I've thought of epoxy and sand it smooth. Can RTV be used with a hose? Help.
