Hi Mark, in the center of the hitch valve, it have a steel ball and a needle you can adjust to have a move of 1 to 1 1/inch on the lever to lower the arm of the hitch. You can access to the needle adjustment by the cover on the top of hitch cover, at the right side of the seat. With a allen key, unscrew the needle, few at the time,start the engine and check.
