Need your help please. I have a request from a fellow in So. Dakota to build an orchard style (underslung) exhaust system for his 1955 IH 300 Utility tractor. Can somebody point me to a place that I can look at a parts page and or pictures so I can get a good idea of the pipe shape? I've made up pipes for about everything but not this model. I usually like to have the old pipe here to duplicate (or in a wonderful world) the tractor to fit to, but 2000+ miles sort of prevents this. I have no idea if this/these parts are still available from Case/IH or not, but if Case/IH is anything like Deere in that respect it's not worth asking about. Would be nice to get at least the head pipe on hand as a pattern. Thanks, Steve Crum. Crum Equipment Co.

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
