Picked up a non running H at a auction a few weeks back. Mainly because it had the Heisler Live PTO unit on it.(Needed a tractor to bale 4 acres with) Spent the last few weeks removing 60 years of oil, grease and dirt from it.After cleaning points, doing a compression check...115#,115#,120#,115#. Fired it up yesterday. Everything seems get and works fine. Now to the question. What do you guys know about these? The pto will run fine. But not sure if the Heisler unit is working properly. It will run the PTO with the clutch pushed in.It seems to work like a hand clutch on a Deere. When the handle is in the backwards position the tractor stops Pto runs,Push forward and tractor moves with PTO running. But it doesn"t seem to Snap into a positve locked position. Maybe a detent that is sticking? Any info or related documents would be appecerated. Thanks
