I don't know that particular cylinder (perhaps a pic?) but there are a couple types I've worked with.
1. welded...end cap doesn't come off. Rod packing is serviceable but the piston seal is not. Cylinder welded at assembly, once it starts bypassing inside (piston seal gone) it is throwaway.
2. tie-rods...remove tie rods usually via external hex nuts. Likely o-ring face seals cut into the end caps to seal up the cylinder body.
3. screw-on...the end cap threads on to the cylinder body (which is basically a threaded tube). Often a single allen setscrew keeps the end cap from starting to unscrew-off. A permutation I have seen (rarely) is that the body has a tapped hole and the end cap screws *into* the body.
