the endcap on this cylinder looks like it slides into the tube and has some kind of locking ring on the inside. there is a small rectangular hole in the side of the tube close to the endcap, and you can see part of the ring down in the hole. looks like your supposed to press down on the ring inside the hole to unlock it and pull the endcap out, but it doesn't seem to want to come out. the endcap will wiggle a little, and you can turn it freely all the way around, but won't come out. i thought it was made to screw out, but it just turns in the tube. iv'e never worked on one that was made this way, but have rebuilt others like you mentioned. also, this is a single action cylinder. hope this helps. thanks
