Well finally got the dist. cap of and am looking at the guts of the unit thats a plus considering. So now can I align the pulley so that the indicator and the two timing marks center the pin then take and rotate rotor so that it points at #1 spark plug then replace back into distributor (ended up removing virtical assembly so more than likely things are not in the same place that they were rwhen it was pulledd) and making sure the gears or seated then tighten back down turn crank slowly and see where in relation to the timing mark the breaker arm goes click
