Hugh, you are correct about the pilot bushing, if apart, I would probably replace everything. Regarding Hytran, it takes the TA/transmission on my 460HU about 10 seconds to stop turning, so that I can shift without gear clash at low idle. I can remove the cover over the TA and see it come to a stop, I suspect the pilot bearing is "dragging", although everything has been rebuilt. How common is this on TA/hytran equipped tractors, since you have had several? I'm not going to split the thing again -- BTDT, and don't see anything wrong, but this is the only TA equipped tractor I have.
