The "WHYS" are probably as numerous as those of us that are addicted to these things. I'm not actively involved in farming anymore, but still live on the edge of the family farm and have the H, M, and Super M which helped feed our family for many years, pulled the car across 3/4 mile of frozen snow-covered fields to a road that was clear enough to make it out and drive 45 miles to a regional-tourney basketball game, and provided me with hours and hours of "alone-time" for sorting out my thoughts on a multitude of topics without ever getting tired of me. I don't expect most people to understand, but each of those tractors helped me grow up, is connected to some of the most important memories of my life, and is a part of who I am.
