Randy, I got the 3 shift rails lined up OK but I see something that doesn't look right. Do you have the specs on the large and small swivel shaft pin diameters? I've a hunch someone long ago rebuilt these pins--not to spec, or IH was sloppy. The large 3/4" pin has a 1/2" dia.(plus or minus 1/16") hole through it for the small pin which is WAY off center. Also, the small pin is WAY smaller (3/8" dia.) than the hole in the large pin. Seems awfully sloppy--unless it is designed that way. The shifter lever is close to the specs in your photo. The .75" width is worn just slightly narrower. Sorry for the length of this message but had to get it right! Thanks again. Emails welcome too.
