If the TA is out on the low side, it's only a matter of time before the tractor won't move at all. It sounds like you're getting to that point.
The hydraulic TA on your 826 isn't like the mechanical TA on a 400. It won't work forever if you just leave the lever ahead.
If you do decide to fix it, do it right and not only replace the TA, but also rebuild the MCV, replace the IPTO drive gear, and it may be a good idea to also do the main clutch and pressure plate too.
