My H has started doing the same thing. I suspect it's a carburetor adjustment issue but I can't find the problem. I put in a new carb overhaul kit which helped but it still stop/starts like that.
Setting the timing is pretty easy, you loosen the distributor and turn it a little. It helps to have a timing light, but you can get close by lining up the timing arrow with the notch on the pulley (on the left side near the governor) then turning the distributor until the points just open.
