What kind of vaporizer does it have on it? An ensign vaporizer is what came from factory, most converted tractors had either century or impaco model e or a model I installed on them. Chances are the vaporizer is full of oil from the lp and will need to be taken apart and cleaned and have new high and low pressure seats and gaskets installed. if its full of oil it won't let the proper amount of lp thru the system and the tractor will run like crap. Keep in mind that the tank can have allot of oil in it and will need to be taken of and drained also. if you run liquid, it will suck oil back in the newly rebuilt vaporizer and you will be doing it all over again. Ensign has been out of business for several years now and parts/rebuild kits are not available anymore. there in a company in Oklahoma that makes an aftermarket rebuild kit for ensign vaporizers, but not all the parts are exactly the same as OEM but they might or might not work. if it is an impaco rebuild parts are available as well as for most century parts. the last century vaporizer I had to rebuild, parts were very expensive, but at least parts are still available. if your local lp dealer can't get them for you let me know and I will get you in contact with someone who can.
