That is what I thought, but I hate to wreck something. I also figured that was why a mag tractor had a one wire switch. I would guess you could use a two wire and ground the second wire out if that is all you had. I will probably pull the gen belt if it isn't too hard to do. For some reason, I thought I heard it was bad to have them charging with no battery to charge to. I suppose I could just cut the belt bc it will get a new one before it goes back together.
