Gary, the points n plugs n condensor are the same...... The coil (assuming its a coil not a mag, if so no changes required) you can keep plus add a series external voltage dropping (12 to 6) ballast resistor after ignition switch before coil as posted or toss the old coil n get a new 12 volt as posted NO BALLAST REQUIRED. Starter can work as is, although it can be a bit tough on starter drive n gears, I would NOT use any heavy rated 12 volt battery but a smaller rated one. Change lights to 12 volts....I usually upgrade the wire from alternator to ammeter and from ammeter to starter/battery to at least 10 gauge, depends on alternators rating.
NOTE if you switch to neg ground the coils wires + from switch and - to distributor and the ammeter leads need swapped or it reads bass ackwards
