My new M needs help. When I put it in 5th gear the shifter moves as it should, but when I let out on the clutch nothing happens. If I pull back on the shifter I can hear and feel the gears rub. I have never looked in the gear box of the M. My A was a snap. There are some bolt heads on top of the traney that has some kind of putty around them.They seem to be in recess for some reason. I thank the putty is to keep water from seeping around the bolts and into the gear box. #1 Now is there a inspection plate I can remove ? #2 Do you think the shifting fork could be bent.#3 If needed can I buy one from YT
