This might be a problam when it comes to traction. We planned to used wide pulling (smaller combine) tires. We are going after the "Nitro Puller" look and thought the increased tire speed would result in some better pulling abality. I have some concerns about the final drives holding out with the increased HP, Toqure and RPMs expecially with the larger tires taking a bigger bite in the ground. If anything the larger side walls might wrinkle/give more than a skinny tire on a tall rim and would absorb the toqure coming through the gears and make it easier on the finals. I guess we will put the fuel to it for once and see what it dose! We do have two extra final drives, a tranny and rear diff. We can at least try once or twice before I'm out of parts! What the hey let's make some noise!
