The tractor that I was going to take the valves off of, Had two pipe plugs in the front of the first valve body, just as you described. It has a Ford power Steering pump powering a Char-lynn actuator, so it does not need to use that valve at all for the P.S..
The first valve on this tractor did not have any openings in the front of the valve body.
I thought that the Behlen P.S. system got its power from the bottom of the Safety/regulator valve. Can you tell me about that so that I can put the correct valve back on this tractor? I have a Behlen system also, that is not working now and maybe I need to swap this one valve to get it to work. SDE
