Mike, I don't think I would use the RTV between all the shims and the mount and the cover. That's 8 layers of RTV and there really are not enough bolts on the pulley to really torque it up all around the surface. I haven't done one but if I was doing mine I would use that copper spray (for heads) on the shims, And some RTV on the main mount surfaces. They are real thin and should marry up to eack other well. I hope you laid them out in order and didn't mix them up.They would have a "set" to them and will fit much better if they go exactly where they were before.
