I have an early 40's model H. I need to change the rearend/tranny oil but the farm store says it takes 10-20w in the winter and 30w for the summer. That doesn't sound quite right to me I've always used something like 90w for rearends. Is it different for the old farmalls? Does it take a much lighter oil? And what is the difference between non-detergent and detergent?
