I have my manifold off right now. It's got some rust on it, so I think I ought to shoot it with some paint just to hold it until I can do something more "complete". (like freeing the valve inside and replacing the heat control lever and broken studs).
So for now, I just want to shoot it with some black paint. Can I just do that? Shoot it, and it will be ok for a while? Or do I have to go through the whole process of sand blasting, primer, then paint?
