The posts all contain good info but some are closer to identifying your probelm than others. Remove the fuel line going into the carb or remove the plug from the bottom of the carb if there is one. With the fuel turned on, let the fuel run until you catch a pint or so. You should get a full steady stream of gas without any interruption. If the stream dimenishes you have a clogged fuel source which will have to be corrected. If the above is O K, fill the radiator with coolant and leave the cap off. Start the engine. If the head gasket is blown and causing the water leak at the radiator you will see bubbles as you look at the coolant. The weepage that you see at the head gasket/head is due to lack of use of the tractor and the gasket has shrunk. This should self correct when you get the tractor fault fixed. If your problem was a head gasket or points the problem would persist at all times. You would see evidence of dirty fouled plugs and the engine would miss.
