Broght my H home from the farm last week. It had been sitting since Christmas, maybe run once for just a few minutes since then. When I picked it up, it started right up, and seemed to run ok, just drove it a few yards to the trailer. At least I didn't notice a miss. Yesterday I started her up and seemed to notice a slight miss. Put it in gear and definately notice something wasn't right. This is a completely rebuilt motor, everything that could be done to it was a little over a year ago, with maybe 5 hours on it since. Pulled back in the drive and started pulling plug wires. 1, 2, and 3 were obviously firing well. Number 4 was it, but it's not dead. As I put the wire close to the plug a good blue spark was jumping and the miss was less, but still there. Does this sound like a sticky valve? I'm going to check comperssion and valve lash and retorque head, (which I did three twice after rebuild). These are the things that make sense to me and come to mind from just having learned a little from listening to everyone here. Any other ideas before I head out?
