Well, I tried to fire up the Farmall C from Hell (pictured here) after a complete rebuild. After fixing issues with the float in the carb, I could not get the thing to run more than a couple seconds. It would run with a repeated squirt of ether. So I took the carb apart, cleaned, tweaked, reinstalled, repeat, with no success. Then I realized that I FORGOT TO PUT THE VENTURI in the carburetor!!!! I guess if my workbench were a little less cluttered, I'd have seen it staring at me like the stack of money in the GEICO commercials. At any rate, she is purring like a kitten now. All I have to do is repair a leak in the radiator and she's good as new. Yet another old gal saved from the scrap heap. Wow what a feeling when she fired up... Wow!
