I will set the throttle in about the sixth notch. When the ground speed slows down, I will advance the throttle two more to get it back to the previous speed and then it will be a little to fast and so I need to reduce it again. Is this an adjustment issue or do I have worn components that need to be replaced? The governor on my parts tractor works excellently, and I could swap them if parts needed replacing.
Also, I have another 400 that runs so smooth that it is a joy to listen to. What makes one run so much smoother than the other? Is it a better balanced crankshaft? Thank you Steve
