Armand, I'm in SW Iowa. I tried something similar to your idea once already. I lifted the front end off of the ground with my loader tractor and tried to turn the steering wheel but had fo luck. I also tried hitting the tie rod ends while it was off the ground to see if I could loosen things up. Still no dice. So to clarify, both the front end and the steering wheel are foze up and not able to turn left or right. The wheel bearings spin freely, I just have no steering action. I used to be able to steer it about 4 years ago when I first brought it home. However its sat outside since then waiting to make it into the shop. Thank you and Owen for your ideas! I may still try the adapter/ hyd assist idea by using my farmall 400 as the hyd power supply. It'll be a few days but I'll get back to you when I can. Ben
