In case you don't know if the cams are for a M through 450 size engine. Only 2 numbers I know of found on the IH cams are 48196 and 45955. They started out with a D suffix in M tractors and ended with a DB suffix in a 450. 48196DA and 45955DA was used in 400 and 450 tractors before they switched to 48196DB and 45955DB during 450 production. The numbers are hard to read on some of those cams. With the new stuff out now someone probably has a simpler way of checking cams. I haven't checked one for ages and used a degree wheel and a dial indicator.
