The triangle on the serial number plate indicates the original final drive update was installed. It does not mean the latest axle bearings, inside and out, and pinion bearings and tapered shim on right side diff housing were installed as they came later on. Transmission itself did not receive updates. I did ten of the original updates. Some dealers had the co. personel come out and do theirs but I picked up a lot of good experince as a youngster doing these jobs.
