I had to fix mine a few years ago. I took that small drive shaft and the cover plate to a bearing shop. They measured for what I needed and if I recall correctly, they did not have the exact OD size needed. I had to buy the closest undersize OD seal and epoxy glue it to the cover. (I might have bought a oversize OD and then enlarged the cover plate hole...don't remember exactly). Either way epoxy glue did the job. That was a few years ago and I use it each summer all season long and it has held up OK. Pete
