The wheels are the same for both 24" and 26" rims. The rims are the only difference, the 24" rims are 2 or 3 piece rims as there is no drop-centre and the edge has to be detachable to get the tyre on. The 26" rim is a one piece drop centre rim. The W-6 had the same arrangement but when they went to 28" and 30" rims they also sued a new larger diameter rim.
