they can be a little of a bugger to get to. if you have the metal mud shield under the bolster, you need to remove that. there are access holes directly below the radiator mounting bolts to getup in there with a deep socket on an extension. if the cotter pins and castle nuts are still there, spray some penetrating oil on em and work the pins out. worst case, buzz the nuts off with an impact, it should cut the pins.
