It sounds like you are running out of fuel.
Take the drain plug out of the float bowl and see if you get a steady stream of fuel pouring out. If not, you could have crud in the fuel tank blocking the sediment bowl, the screen on the fuel inlet of the carb could be plugged, or your float / float valve is stuck.
