Blowing snow early this morning and the driveline on the snowblower came apart on the inside where the sheer bolt yoke rides causing the line not to have full travel, when i lifted the blower broke those three bolts that hold the pto shaft onto the pto housing. We got lucky and were able to remove all three broken bolts with a reverse drill bit. Looks like there was also a fourth bolt or possibly a peg that was broke off and someone must have broke off an easy out trying to get it out. Question is, was there four bolts or just three and a peg? Also what was the point of bolting on the pto shaft, did they offer the large pto as an option, it just seems a little under built for the horsepower it puts out? Thanks for any replies.
