Thanks, i figured they probably set it up like that to switch shaft sizes but wasnt sure.
I have had the tractor for about a year and it only had the 3 bolts and no dowel pin, so i guess thats the way it going to stay, not sure how to remove that broken dowel with a easy out stuck in it. I would like to switch it to the dual shaft set up when the snow melts, salvage yard wants around 900 for the dual set up and the coupler.
