I'm just about finished fixing most all the problems on a '56 TD-9 crawler loader. One thing remains -this 54 year old machine has a right hand steering clutch that's weak. Not the turning brake, that's OK. Noticeable when I put it under load, it will spin the left track but not the right. Drives & steers OK otherwise. Pulled the lower clutch cover and it looks like it has been leaking some oil out of the trans. I'd guess this is the problem. Short of pulling the Drott loader off and fixing the seal, is there a way to degrease /dry out the clutch facings? Maybe buy a couple gallons of brake clean and put in the housing after plugging the drain? Thanks,
