I have seen that done. The idea was to run an auger from the pto and the auger hopper from the pump on the belt pulley. The belt pulley runs about 1100 rpm when the pto is 540. When you take the belt pulley off of the flange, the flange has 8 bolt holes in it. It is blacksmith work to make a drive adapter. I use a chain and sprocket to drive the belt pulley with a hydraulic motor on a 560 to do trenching work with. I can get a ground speed of 3 feet per minute with that setup.
