Glennster, I was thinking about using the hookups from the belt pulley drive, to raise my PT-10 Heston swather when cutting hay,... and may even attempt to run a JD 510 roundbaler off of the pump. I suppose I could experiment with "idleing down" when raiseing the swather, and while tying and dumping bales.
I just thought there might be less to worry about if I used a 1000 rpm pump.
