I have only removed the nozzle body on other type injectors used on a MD with the slide hammer I made. You have the type that came on one with a engine # 14500 or lower. Later type its easy to remove the nozzle fitting then bolt the plate to nozzle body.
I measured what I made, 5/8 plate 3/4 rod, 56 inches long, 22 lb hammer. Just made it from stuff I had handy. If I was doing another I would drop to 1/2 or 5/8 rod and a lighter hammer and shorten it up at least a foot. Thats just the way I remove the hard ones, i'm sure someone else may have a better idea. Never had one with the type injectors you have, so have no first hand knowledge.
I can thru bolt the puller to the injectors to pull them out which is what you see. Then when I get them out it is a perfectly flat surface that I used two 3/8"x1" fine thread bolts to bolt the puller to the thing in the head.
Are you anywhere near WI? Maybe I could come and pick up your puller. I owe you a beer anyhow.
What did you make the hammer out of? I would love to have something that heavy. I will be remfg mine on Monday, but I would like to find something heavier to slide.

The General GG was made by the Cleveland Tractor Company (Cletrac) of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
