Here are some pictures of the good and bad injectors. Don't read the captions bc I flip flopped which one was good. THE GOOD ONE HAS THE TOOL ATTACHED.
I think I need more stroke and maybe a heavier pounder on the tool. This would likely require thicker steel as well. Slater, is this something like yours?
The good injector is much cleaner on the tip and doesn't have blackish goo on it. The bad injector does not have the copper ring on the end of it. Is that stuck in the precombustion chamber? On the good one the copper ring deformed a little. Probably during removal. The tool works great for removing the injectors, but I haven't budged one of the NBRs yet.
