I read the artical on the board Thursday about buying a tractor. I must say that the ones I have bought over the last few years would never measure up to the criteria presented in the artical. After all it is hard to find one in perfect condition that is for sale, also the fact they are 60 to 70 years old plays a role in their condition. The last one I brought home was a Cub in sad condition. my wife said,What in the world do you plan to do with that thing! But after some lot"s of work and new tires a grill and numerous other things it would almost meet the criteria presented in the artical. I may be old and out of touch but I still like to get one that is needing a lot of TLC and bring it up to a presentable condition. ED
