For me, the "fun" is finding one that is not completely trashed, is being sold at a "good price", is near enough that I don't have to spend a fortune going to get it and one that is not going to bankrupt me when I do get around to restoring it. I enjoy the tinkering and hands on that goes along with this hobby. I have occasionally brought home "basket cases" but they were "freebies" or almost "freebies", and as I said, only on rare occasions. Most of mine are just good old, well used Farmalls that need some TLC and I like it that way. Some guys just want to buy one put it on a trailer, take it to a show and drive it in the parade. To each his own.
