Well it was time to fire up the 656D after it sat all winter. The tractor started right up however after doing some light field work the engine started acting sluggish and slow to respond to the governor. Went back to the shop and put in two new fuel filters and still the same sluggish response. I am thinking it may be time to overhaul the fuel injection pump. Am I thinking correctly? The engine kinda of boggs down then speeds past the initial rpm setting before it settles back down. Is there something else I should be looking at?
