Those engines are noted for warped oil pump covers. One wap to fix the problem, is remove the pump and take off the cover. Take a large sheet or 180 sandpaper on a flat surface and resurface the cover. When you've got it looking pretty good, install it on the pump with no gasket. If you can turn the pump, put it together with sealer. If you can't turn it, start playing with gaskets.
