Hey guys (and gals). I've owned this H for about three years now and slowly but surely been fixing it up with as time would allow. I've referred to this site's archives for help numerous times and thanks to all who post on here and share their knowledge. When I purchased this tractor someone had attempted to restore it but then got in over their head or lost interest and threw it back together, rather poorly, and sold it in the auction I purchased it at. To date I have gone through the charging system, rebuilt the generator, new wiring, new voltage regulator, rebuilt the starter, new battery cables, rebuilt the carb, cleaned the gas tank out and sealed it, replaced the gauges, and put in a new thermostat. Mostly minor stuff but at least I could jump on it and ride around until the day after I took this pic. I pressure washed it and cleaned it all up before this pic was taken. The next day I went into the shop and had a massive puddle under it. Pressure washer had damaged the gasket between trans. housing and axle housing. Looks like my next project has been planned out for me, and it is not all bad because I did have to replace the axle seal on the same side anyway. Oh well. I guess it's all part of the fun of tractors, eh??
