Hello, i have a 1958 international 460 with the 6 cylinder gas, and i just bought it,and i have been 2 months with trying to get it to run right. my problem is if you accelerate slow its fine most of the time, but if you accelerate fast it will sometimes dye,or backfire and spit and sputter. i have 225 dollars in a complete rebuild of my carb including throttle shaft and bushings, have set the valves, new points, condensor, plugs, and wires, and the book says to set the timing at 30 degrees and i have done that, and played with it also and nothing helps, my distrubitor cam for the points has some wear and the thing is kinda rounded instead of square where the points ride on, could my advance mechnisim in the distribotor be messed up, i need all the help i can get please.
