I posted about this the other day but I still have a question. On my 9 right behind the oil pan under the flywheel is where the oil is coming out, and there is a 1/2" gap between the motor and I guess you could it the bell housing. I looked on another 9 and it had what appearded to be some time of gasket or seal material in the gap. Maybe this is what M Diesel was refering to in his post. Can this gasket or materil be installed from the outside.I know this is not going to fix the rear main seal if that is where it is leaking but they had the material in there for some reason. Thanks for any help or prior experience along these lines.
