ive been hunting me a farmall cub or a A, to make a mowing tractor for several years, well today i got me one, 1947 cub, came with front grader blade and rear plow and all the manuels it had when delivered in 1947, now the tractor is box stock original, including the electrical system, which means 6-v positive ground, i need a battery, now if i go buy the battery tommorrow, it will be charged for a 6v negetive ground system, so how do i make it work on this cub, when i removed the old battery [ tractor has been stored for a long time] the ground cable was on the pos post of the old battery i know this has been discused before, but i cant find it, which post should i hook the tractors hot cable to on the new battery or what do i need to do?
