Hey all! Long time, no post....seems like I"m always busy. Working on purchasing an early Farmall CUB. Has a Woods 59L belly mower under it. Any of you guys/gals using this set-up for mowing your lawns? I"m kind of particular about my lawn....but spending too much time on my John Deere GT225 with 42" deck. Am I going to be happy with this new set-up (I"ll keep using the Deere for trimming around the trees etc.) So here"s the question. This "new" CUB has hydrauliclift for the deck but doesn"t have the one-point lift on the back. Life is changing for me, and I"m going to be putting out a big garden, pumpkin patch etc. next spring. What are my options for using this cub for doing more work? Can I add a one point lift, or are there implements for it as is? I"m thinking I need a one bottom plow, disk, cultivator etc. Can I get a hand lift and use these impliments as is, or do I need to retro-fit a 3 point or one point hydraulic hitch to this tractor? Anybody using a cub without the rear hitch to pull implements? Thanks.
