My M has been converted to a 12 volt alternator for a lot of years. Only problem I ever had was a battery getting old and needing changing. I'm having problems now with a new battery and I need to know if the system is charging correctly. I'm getting 14-15 volts at the battery when the tractor is running. Is this correct or should I see more than that.I had issues starting last year and changed out some wiring that was bad thinking I had a short. Also turned out the old battery had a bad cell when I traded it in for the new one. I want to know if I have a charging issue before doing more trouble shooting.
